"Twickeree"

Twickeree, in Marble Hill House park, is a three-day jamboree of all Scout Groups
in Richmond-upon-Thames District held once every three years. It gives Scouts
and Explorers an opportunity to display non-boating skills; to sleep under canvas
for two nights; to take part in soap-box races and a gun carriage race; to meet
other Scouts and Sea Scouts from the District; to encourage interested visitors
to join us; and for Cubs to visit our site in the daytime to get a flavour of what
senior scouting is about.

St. George's Day parade

The St. George's Day parade is held each year on the Sunday nearest to 23 April, together with members of Scout Groups from all over the District.
